Although I thought I was operating on this thread, I must have first clicked on that link which took me to the original one. Ugh, sorry guys. You have every right to be peeved at me. And the Nets wonder why they can't sell season or individual tickets. I'd be pissed if the guy next to me paid 75 cents for his ticket and I paid a face value of $100.

TICKET PRICE TRANSPARENCY PEOPLE!!!!! Just because people aren't willing to pay $100 a ticket it doesn't mean they wouldn't pay $25 or $50. Set reasonable prices across the board and stop with the covert ticket operations.

Interestingly, from a recent This American Life on the health care crisis (a two-parter, actually) I learned that a lack of price transparency is a signifigant part of what keeps insurance costs high in America.
