NBA Season Long Game Thread

Postby mb4th » Sat Jan 29, 2011 1:33 am

Garnett is a complete joke. If I was in the NBA about once a year I would punch a guy in the face w/o warning. Just to let it be known Im not one to mess with. Well, Id punch guys like Garnett.......Id give Dwight Howard the benefit of the doubt.

This Kevin Love worship is insane. Hes David Lee from 2 years ago, who cares. Ive heard him break down how to nickel and dime for extra rebounds.

Mark Jackson is the worst commentator in the NBA. He doesnt even pay attention to what hes saying anymore, its just a preset of cliches and catchphrases

Some thoughts while watching the Nuggets/Spurs game:

Kenyon Martin is breakfast toast.

Raymond Felton is just a terrible point guard and player.

Wilson Chandler is the same as I always view him, good utility player, makes some big plays a few times a game, but aside from that you forget he's even out there.

Gary Neal is lights out.

Ty Lawson is solid.

Nene's defense is pretty tight, he's a load and plays bigger then his numbers.

Gallo has a real knack of getting to the line, needs to improve his all around game, but still reminds me of a young Rashard Lewis.

JR Smith is the same low BBIQ chucker he's always been, if he isn't hitting his shots he's nonexistent and can shoot his team into or out of a game, within the same game.

Kobe and Reke destroyed us tonight, pick just went from somewhere between 23 and 25 to either 27 or 28.

Common sense was trying to worm its way in.

I edited common sense right out there.

Terrence Williams V Tyler Hansborough.......will I ever be right about our draft picks?

Knee-jerk upset alert. Would not be excited about Pacers/Magic

That loss by Magic was terrific news for us. If Dwight goes off for almost 50 and still loses, his rightful reaction will be "this team sucks".

A Lakers loss doesnt change our draft pick right?

Want to see the Spurs go down....(all this w/o Rudy too).... I wonder if the Grizz would deal Rudy in the offseason? If not, Mayo!!!!

I meant in terms of what Dwight Howard is thinking.

Although something tells me winning isnt his #1 priority
