Even if "our pick" turned out to be #1. Would you rather have Irving or Deron?

Obviously Deron...
But for me, I would've selected Williams in that scenario.
PG(harris), Morrow, Williams, Favors, Lopez......

Harris
Morrow
Derrick Williams
Favors
Lopez
mehh...you don't know how Derrick Williams and Favors would have developed. Favor didn't show much, but he is still young. I still am in huge favor of the DWill trade because it gives us prospects to get much better quicker.

I know I know.... Deron is nearly the deal breaker... I would just go with the Deron route. But if someone told me, Deron or the #1 pick, so we have that possible lineup vs Deron + Lopez ATM, I would really think it over... I mean, TWO young promising prospects with our rising big.... Sure we could flip Harris for someone else or who knows, next year's first(2012), Harris and Favors for Dwill....
But I will bite my tongue and roll with Deron. Too much ifs and maybes...

Of course it's all dependent on Dwill inking that extension.

Dwight isnt signing an extension on a team led by Enes Kanter
"First I got to get big like Dwight Howard, Im gonna do that"
"We also have Anthony Morrow he’s one of the best for three-point throws. It’s very important for our team. "

That's a no for me.... BUT I wonder if Wes J... some acolyte of Pegs.... would be available? No reason for Minny to move that comes to mind, why not "inquire"

That wouldn't make sense. He's probably their best shooter, and I don't see any other players as good as him to play SG on that roster.
Well, there's that Webster guy who played about 45 games, big whoop

Hmmmnn. . . OK. . . so if Minny grabs Williams it may shake Webster free? I'd be interested in that (How 'bout farmar for Webster?). . . but who knows what Minny is ever thinking?

He blew chunks as their shooting guard, he did better at his real position though.

Or he did, check his stats, he was putrid as a shooting guard and below average as a small forward, hey, you could just say what you want cause you're a Cuse fan.

Or you could just watch some wolves games - which I did, considering there's 1 and 1/2 cuse players and one of my favorite players on that team. His stats aren't awesome, but neither is the system he's in.
By the way, weren't you the one talking about hyperbole?

What's hyperbole, he was putrid as a shooting guard.

But tell me you can't judge him by stats...
And for the record, I think Wes Johnson could be a nice starting small forward, I would love to trade for him if he came on the cheap.
All I'm talking about is this year.
With the exception of maybe the notorious last 4 weeks of the season he was flat out horrible, it's not hyperbole, it's truth.
I think he could be a 17ppg type with a very good outside shot, good defense and good in transition.
