Interesting that Ford and Givony both have Crawford at 27 in their most recent mocks. I also just read an article on SI, with quotes from him

"I went to Boston and New Jersey for workouts and the feedback I got from them pushed me to come into the draft even more. I was told that I was one of the most prolific scorers in this year's draft and a lot of teams liked that. [The Celtics and Nets] said we can't see you going into the second round, either, but anything can happen.

Of course, that was over a month ago, and I don't think he's been called back for a second workout (yet) but quite interesting that we seemed to express that we thought he would be gone before our third pick, and our second one is only a few spots higher.

Jordan Crawford, ugh.

Don't worry, we'll find a way to screw up both these late picks if we keep them.

Most of the late 1st round picks don't make it in the league. it's to be expected :-/

I wouldn't mind Crawford...he looks a bit Ricky Davish at times, but you can't deny that Crawford can score and has deep range.

...and he dunked on LeBron.

I think we could trade our 27th and 31st + YI for a top 15 pick.Sorry not a Yi fan.

I would be stunned if we could move up that far with those meager "assets".

Guys that could be available at the 27th pick I take over Crawford:
Elliot Williams
Armon Johnson
Mikhail Torrance
Craig Brackins
Dominique Jones
Terrico White
Darington Hobson(I list this guy with a question mark because I haven't really seen him play, I'm just going by what you guys are saying about him and mainly because I am not a fan of Crawford at all.)

I don't like Crawford's game. Maybe it's because his handle is so damn ugly. Maybe it's his poor shot selection and long stretches of black hole itis. Maybe it's his allergy to defense. Could be that he's ineffective when he's not dominating the ball. Don't like his attitude much either. Even though he's a pretty good outside shooter with range, I can't help but think he shoots the ball with his arms way too much, reminds me of watching a ball hog on the playground hoisting away from 3 with a funky release. Reminds me of the shooting guard version of Tamar Slay mixed with some CDR, with a bad attitude.

Why do you say he has a bad attitude?

KC already hit me with the heads up that he's a projected late 2nd rounder....I'd absolutely love to have him on this team, though.

I know he had to score on Xavier, but I don't like his chucker's mentality.
I have read that he is pretty me first as well and I don't love the way he sound's in his interviews for what it's worth, but that's just like the icing on the cake for me.
I'm not saying he'll be a cancer, but he comes off as immature and selfish, plus like I said, I have read some stuff alluding to that as well. Maybe he's misunderstood, but I can't help but think he's half a GO NETS!!!.

Also, sorry if I came off like a GO NETS!!! in that post, I didn't mean to, but re-reading it I can see how that might be assumed.

Dominique Jones(South Florida) kind of reminds me of CDR. Not a great jumper but has a knack for scoring 1 on 1.

I thinkd Id rather roll the dice on an Eric Bledsoe and hope you have a Russel Westbrook type.

If I had my way wed go
#3 - Favors - Slides right into a real important role. Id love to see more activity from him though

#27 - Eric Bledsoe - If he actually made it this far.

#31 - Tiny Gallon - Scrappy Avery can get him in shape. He would fit well w/ Favors if he sticks around for awhile

2nd - Tibor Pleiss - 7'0"/ 220lbs./C - What the GO NETS!!! do I know? Has a nice frame to put weight on at 20 years old and has a nice skill set. I just want an international guy for NI to keep tabs on for a year or two.

Dominique. Im reading we have an interest in both and also Im dumb.

I see what Damian James brings to us more than Dominique Jones. Damian has some size, rebounding, and athleticism to him and has nice potential defensively.

Oh, and if hes there sign me up for Hassan Whiteside. DeAndre Jordan esque situation maybe

If you had the choice, would you take Whiteside or Alabi?

Oh definitely Whiteside. He just moves so well for his size its really impressive. I dont think Alabi is even in his class that way
