I would be happy if the Nets drafted Tyler Honeycutt.

This is obviously if we stay at 27, which I guarantee we won't.

For unhappy, I'd start with a guy I loathe, Kyle Singler.

I'd then move onto Travis Leslie.

Shift things to Malcolm Lee.

Then I would have to mention Tobias Harris.

Follow that up with Josh Selby.

Let's round things out with DeAndre Liggins.

I am warming up to Honeycutt but I think he's most likely to get drafted early(than 27th)... I would be ok with a move up. Honeycutt or Harper are a win win with Harper in the lead for me.

I figure the odds of getting a useful player at 27 is so low, I just want us to draft someone I like.

I would love to root for Leslie and Howard Thompkins III, because I like UGA.
I like Singler, but am just eh on him as a prospect.

I do like Honeycutt, I think he's an intriguing prospect with a lot of upside.

I think Selby is a big d-bag and don't like him, but think 27 is a good spot to take a risk on someone like that.

I hate Jeremy Tyler, on the other hand. He's just horrible.

I also like Chandler Parsons, I love his versatility and skill set. I also like JaJuan Johnson a lot.

I'll be unhappy if we take a PG. Makes no sense to me.

I'd LOVE to get Malcolm Lee in the 2nd, though. UCLA players are hard to evaluate due to the system, especially when they played out of position. He could be a steal, like Jrue Holiday.

I think Smith would be awesome to have as a combo guard - he can play with Deron or while Deron is sitting out. I think he's a very good player who's good at a lot of things offensively, and who's solid defensively. I think he's got a good head on his shoulders, too. I think he'd be a steal this late in the draft.

Where they are at Id want Travis Leslie b/c he intrigues the GO NETS!!! out of me. Best athlete in the draft and a good set of tools to work with. Get him in the D-league and work with him, high ceiling.

Edited - Nikola Mirotic may need to wait 2 full years before coming to the NBA? That only means hes that good of a prospect is hes being talked about as a late 1 and wont be ready for a while. Thats the perfect scenario for Prokhorov to use some cash. I really want this guy

Chad ford mentioned in his chat they want to move up for Reggie Jackson. I didn't know he was going so high but I like the fit as a combo guard off the bench. Could theoretically step into sashas role. Would like if his trigger was a little quicker. His drives are nice though. He can finish in a lot of ways at a lot of angles

James is a guy who played PF in college, but because he's NBA-short for that position and was able to shoot the ball better than an average PF, he plays SF in the NBA.

Butler is a genuine SF. He has more guard skills than James, but as he's not as quick as a guard he can't play the 2 in the NBA.
