The March Madness Thread
Ghoti, how come Marty Booker isn't dominating like we know he can?
I'm also watching the American - Villanova game. AU is up by 10 at the half; could this be this year's Cinderella?

Villanova losing...
I had them beating Duke... c'mon \/illanova!
I'm watching some Yankees Spring Training baseball, so I'll be switching back and forth between the two.

Wow. What's been up with Reynolds and Fischer? I expected them to play much better. Doesn't really make sense.

If anyone isn't watching this Siena-Ohio State game, you should be.
Great game. I know a couple of guys who went to Siena, so I'm definitely rooting for them.
Oh yeah, and Wake...such a shame.

Who do you guys have winning tonight in these matchups?
4 Xavier
1 Pittsburgh
3 Villanova
2 Duke
5 Purdue
1 Connecticut
3 Missouri
2 Memphis
I have the #1's winning, and the #2's losing. Went with the Big East teams, of course

Villanova is my school's biggest rival, but I don't really hate them that much.

I feel like I should hate them, because they essentially knocked Syracuse out of 2 tournaments...but I still want them to win.
Plus, Dante Cunningham is that dude. I have nightmares of him against the zone...

Dante Cunningham is so gaunt. He looks like someone put a thin layer of skin on a skull.

The Memphis/Mizzou game is incredibly fun to watch. It's a track meet!

Tyreke Evans is good. He's a smart ballhandler and is great at creating his own shot. If only he had more bulk to play SF

Evans got into the lane at will, but Mizzou's achiles is letting people get to the bucket. It was the perfect place for Evans to showcase himself.

Evans also missed every single shot he took outside the paint.

Re: The March Madness Thread
So disappointed.
I was pissed when this game took place. More about Johnny getting hammered not once, but twice, and no calls for him on both plays. Talk about kicking someone when they're down.
I feel like it would've been closer if they made the same calls for him that they made for their poster boy Blake.
