Re: Pegs' -Rant About SU- Thread
I couldn't find the right game thread to post this in, and plus this tidbit is much more relevant to SU/Pegs: Hakim Warrick gets benched in favor of Greg Buckner. That is all.

Did you see his boxscore? He had a terrible game, and tried to shoot a 3 in the clutch. He didn't really deserve to be out there. Last I checked, Buckner could consistently shoot 3's.

Is anyone watching this game? The officiating is GO NETS!!! terrible. SU can't get anything down low, they keep getting hacked.
The zone sure isn't helping.

Did Andy get hurt?

Something happened with him.
The announcers were saying something about his knee, and then something about how Boeheim would play him if they got within 10...but they only got within 11. I'm not really too sure as to how bad the injury actually is.

And all the hype dies down.

I completely missed the game. But wow, I can't believe we really lost to Louisville.
I'm wondering what's up with Johnny. I hope it's not an injury.

They start off with all this hype winning so many games in a row and now they cannot beat anyone.

Well, Rautins was out, and Onuaku barely played. Just wasn't enough.

Jones is also out for the year. I had higher hopes for him.

I can't even watch the games anymore, it's that frustrating. We have a million gaurds and no bigs but still cannot bring the ball up court.

Yeah, this game is terrible. So many guards, yet so many turnovers. And no rebounding.
There have been a bunch of sketchy calls this game, but nowhere near as many turnovers. It's awful. We should be tied right now.

Wow. That game hurt. 4 missed three's in that last possession. We really missed Rautins there.
Johnny just didn't have it tonight.

They're iffy...Arinze is a non-factor now because of knee tendinitis.
RIP whatever big man depth they had

Arinze became a non factor when he got to the point that he couldn't hit iron on FT's.

Syracuse has #2 recruiting class in the country, according to Rivals (whom I trust)
I wonder why they went down in ranking? Anyways, we have an offensive big, defensive big, combo forward, and a great guard. Add that to Jackson (if he stays) and Dashonte Riley, and we have a ridiculous number of bigs. No small ball this year.
So much potential in the next few years...I hope they meet it.
2010 commits (National rank)
C Fabricio de Melo (16)
SG Dion Waiters (29)
PF C.J. Fair (111)
C Baye Moussa Kieta (145)
There is a distinct international flavor to Syracuse's strong four-man class. The jewel of the class is de Melo, a highly skilled 7-footer from Brazil. Not far behind him talent wise is Waiters, a physical combo guard. Fair is a versatile forward. Rounding out the class is Moussa Kieta, who is a shot-blocking specialist from Sudan.
