Turkish Team to Offer Arenas Contract?
According to several Euro and Israeli sources, the Turkish Euroleague team Efes Pilsen may offer Gilbert Arenas $75,000/game in order to strengthen the team for the Euroleague Top 16 stage (and beyond). As soon as I find a link in English, I'll post it. Honestly, I think it's far-fetched but even if it does happen I don't see Arenas agreeing to the deal. It's a lot of money, but he's far from needy and he has enough to worry about in his life right now without the complications of playing in Europe.

But then again, Arenas is just whacky enough to do it.

If a player is suspended by one member league in FIBA, he cannot sign with any team in any league within FIBA. It's bull.
