Why?
He signed an extension last year through '12 with Tau.

Ahhhh Qyntel Woods - had the skill set to be a better version of travis outlaw - didn't get enough coaching, and made bad decisions when he first got paid.
Glad to see he stuck with the game when forced overseas to earn a living - I think vegas would have had the odds stacked against it.

How about some of the prospects likely to declare for next year's draft like Jan Vesely, Moteijunas and Jonas Valanciunas?
Keep an eye on Nando de Colo too...
Or are they not in EuroCup? I don't know a ton about European ball.

Vesely- Plays for Partizan in the Euroleague.
Moteijunas- Plays for Benetton, in the EuroCup qualifiers at this point.
Valanciunas- Plays for Rytas in the Euroleague.
De Colo- Plays for Valencia in the Euroleague.
The EuroCup and Euroleague are two different leagues-- think of them like DI and DII. The best Euro clubs play in the Euroleague, in addition to their domestic leagues, and the best of the rest play in the EuroCup. Vesely already proved himself to be a force last season by helping Partizan shock Europe and make the Final Four, and should have another solid season. Moteijunas is still a project at this point. Valanciunas will get a real chance to prove his worth this season, since Rytas are in the Euroleague again and he is expected to start at center. De Colo helped lead Valencia to the EuroCup championship last season, so they automatically qualified for the Euroleague this season. He had a really solid season, we'll see how he does against top competition this year.
As for Woods, he was superb for Prokom (Polish champs) and I believe he's sticking around with them for another season. He was a part of a trio of Americans which kept that team competitive in the Euroleague's first rounds.
This list is really outdated by now, I'd gladly update it if you guys are interested.

Nets worked him out this offseason.

Jonathan Givony tweeted this during yesterday's game:
http://twitter.com/DraftExpress/status/21852741413Felipe Reyes wants to know why no team in the NBA had any interest in signing him this summer. No explanation here. 8 points in 10 minutes.
http://twitter.com/DraftExpress/status/21853136939Yes, really. Reyes won't admit it publicly, but he was privately exploring his NBA options early this summer. No team bit.
Hmm... I think he could be a nice hustle big man in the NBA. He's a warrior and plays with heart... even if he's undersized, he is a tough defender, a tremendous rebounder and can hit the mid range J.

He's a good player and he's not that undersized (6'9"), but he's already 30 years old and doesn't have a very special skill set. He's better off staying as captain in Madrid, that's a job a lot of players would kill for.

http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2010/w ... itter_feedAnte Tomic is an interesting prospect. Tomic, who is property of the Utah Jazz, is big (7-foot-2) and skilled, with excellent footwork and a diverse back to the basket game. He's a little too lean (220 pounds) for the NBA right now, but he had his way against an undersized U.S. team, finishing with 12 points and eight rebounds. If the 23-year-old Tomic can bulk up, he could be a nice prospect for Utah in the coming years.
I've said this before, I love that kid.

I updated KC's post for the 2010/2011 season. KC, if you have any other names to add, do it! Also merged the Euroleague and EUROCUP threads into one thread.

Sweet! Thanks, Kobi. I've been out of the International Loop for the last year. I'm ready for Euroleague to start, thanks for doing this, I'll look if there's anyone to add.
