Sports writers - which one more hated by Nets fans?
John Hollinger or Chris Broussard.... or someone else?

Bondy (wannabe nix writer)
I have a great deal of respect for Hollinger. He's been spot on predicting nets record every single season. No sugarcoating.

Hollinger just always seems to dismiss the Nets when he talks about him. I put him in here b/c I read a little blurb (couldn't read full thing b/c of Insider) and it was just totally making the Nets out to be a joke of a franchise.
Broussard b/c he's an idiot and can never get his reporting and sources correct... I can't believe I forgot Sheridan.
This thread only came about b/c of the hate I was seeing for the Nets since we're in the spotlight now with all this Dwight stuff. I hope we either get Dwight or Nene+SF, and just go on a miraculous run in this shortened NBA season and just surprise the crap out of everyone and win it all!!!

Hollinger is from NJ and I think was a local reporter before making it big with his PER. Maybe I'm imagining things, but I sometimes get the feeling that he goes overboard in his anti-Nets remarks just beacause they are his hometown team and he wants to prove that he is fair.
There's a sometimes-visitor to Nets Daily that I suspect is him, in fact, but can't prove it.

Chris Sheridan is by far the biggest moron. I always get him and Broussard mixed up.
Then again, all you have to do is write for ESPN, and you instantly get put on the list for potentially awful writers.
I would also add Al Iannazzone to that list. I always thought he was a bad writer, and I never liked his "tone" of writing. Now, he's a Knicks writer - and I don't think that's all his paper's fault. I think he was asked, and jumped at the chance.
Here's an interesting one, that might bring about a bunch of different answers - most loved? I'd personally put Woj at the top of the list. He's a good writer, but when you add in all the people he seems to be connected with and all the stories he digs up, that makes him one of the best. I also like that he's not too biased in his writing (compared to other writers).

My vote is for Chris Sheridan. He combines Broussard's unreliability with Hollinger's tone.
My top 3 are Woj (best sources), Dave D (best perspective of the reality of the Nets) and Henry Abbott (best insight into league wide issues).
